Final Post

I would like to thank you for giving me an opportunity to be part of
your challenge. I regret that I was not as faithful as others with my
blogging. I guess I would say that "life" just got in the way. I have
only great and positive comments to say about DrugDelivery.ca and
all the people that I dealt with. I hope that the other challengers
are successful on their journey into a small size.

If you have any further questions, please send me an email. Until
then, THANK YOU FOR HELPING ME LOSE 13 lbs!!! Thank you for your support!

Trying to get back on board with the Hcg Challenge!

Here is a picture that was just recently taken. I am down 15 pounds.  I am just starting week 2 of the second round. I have lost only 5 pounds since I started back on the hcg. I have not been as diligent as I was on round one with my eating but I have managed to lose all the weight I gained when I was off the protocol. I still have 20 lbs to go so I will now get serious! New measurements will be published next week. Hopefully I will see my loss in inches. I'll be back!

Back from vacation!!

Hello fellow HcG Challengers!

First of all I want to say that I am sorry I was out of touch for so long. Being on vacation really and finishing my first round at the same time was a ticket for disaster!  I really took off from everything... even my diet! Great summer but now I am paying the price!

I am happy to report that the gain for the summer was "only" 5 lbs.  I guess that I am still playing the same mind games. I know to some that might seem like a lot but I know what kind of food I was eating and I will tell you that I expected to see the scale much higher.

I have been back home for just over a week and started my second round of protocol  on Monday of this week and I am happy to report that I am now back to 168.5 (lost 4 lbs). That even includes the weight from the 2 load days (start load days got up to 172 lbs). So although I was not happy with the gaining part, I do think that with any other diet program, if I had the same type of summer, I probably would have gained back most of the weight. I am not proud of the eating I did over the last month, but I did managed to keep active and at least stay somewhat conscious of the choices I made.

Not great choices for sure, but I am back on track and ready to do round 2.  I really believe that the HcG has given me a new set point because I am back to 168.5 and it's only been 4 days.

WOW!!! It is unbelievable think about all my "cheating" and still not be back to square one. So I am back once again for round 2 and I promise to report my progress on a regular basis. Thank you to Drug Delivery for their support and thanks to all my fellow challengers who inspire me continue. Hopefully I will be one of the biggest losers!!

Everything is status quo!

Good Morning HcG challengers. Just a note to say that I am holding my weight at 169.2. Within the 2 lb range from my last weigh in at the end of round 1. I am amazed because my diet has been far from perfect. I almost think the scale is afraid to show any kind of increases because it would put me over the edge! I did want to continue my weight loss during this break but that has not been the case. The one thing I would say is as we all know, it is easy to fall back into old eating habits. I will need to cut back and do some very low calorie days this week. BUT I am holding my own and will be looking forward to starting the 2nd round in August. Happy belated 4th to all the challengers.

An update!

After a very busy 4 days in NY City I am proud to announce that my weight has basically stayed the same since last reported... 168.6. This is still within the range of 2 lbs from my final number on the VLCD of 167.5. I am truly amazed because I have not been eating as well as I should be with all the traveling. I think my body does have another set point. I would love to be on the way down again but will take the leveling off for now. Goal was to get to 159 by end of summer. I will continue to weigh in.

Summer break 6/23/2008

It's been a while since I have blogged and I just wanted to let everyone know that I have finished the first round of HcG (23 days) and will be taking a 6 week break. Great time of year for a break... summertime! I have maintained my weight of 167.5. So that is the good news. I do go up and down within 2 lbs, but I seeming can get rid of the small gains with a little thoughtful eating. I am very happy with where I am now and will keep you posted as to my weight over the next 6 weeks. My goal is to lose a bit more weight off of the HcG so that I can start the next round and be confident that I will not regain. So as of 6/23/08, I weight 168.5. I have kept up my exercising and will monitor that to see how that affects my weight. HcG rocks!!!

Day 22

Well I have been in a holding pattern. Weight is 167 lbs for the last few days. I have had minor cheats, that is probably why my weight is at a stand still. I do seem to lack some energy but I still feel good and am very pleased to be nearing the 165 lb mark.

I have a couple of tough days ahead because I am traveling by car to New England which will take about 3 days. I plan to pack a cooler full of healthy snacks but being on the road for so many hours gives me a long time to be thinking about food. Long car rides usually make me want to snack! I do seem bit more hungry by mid afternoon but I haven't eaten my apple during this time. I am determined to get to 165 by the time I reach my destination.

Clothes are fitting much better. I am actually between sizes... a very loose 14 and a slightly tight size 12! That means that the size 14 clothes are being taken out of the closet and the size 12s are back in. Believe it or not, I have a range of sizes and I could probably not worry about buying any new clothes until I get down to an 8! What a problem to have. Wish me luck on my trip.
